So is the above diagram correct or NOT?
The track in the original instructions is different.
Maybe if this picture by Skyraider is CORRECT then it should REPLACE the pictures in the instructions.
Just a suggestion.

Re: Extending range of GPS transmission
Tony,
I am going to try the method suggested by Skyraider using the 0.5mm insulated copper and see what happens. 30 feet would be the absolute minimum requirement for me.
Thank you for replying. will let you know my progress. But, as you know things move at a rather slow pace at my end.

Extending range of GPS transmission
Can someone help with this. I think Skyrider had a suggestion. But I would like more details. I am not sure where he soldered the insulated copper wire.

Re: PCB assembly discussion
Can you please describe in detail how you extended the range of the GPS? Very important to get my setup working.

Hints about extending range of transmitter
To those who have completed builds of the clock.
Can you give hints regards improving the range of the transistor.
Also any one have a source from which to purchase the appropriate 433 transmitter?

How does one start a new topic?
Is there a setting that will allow this forum to automatically inform me when a new post is made anywhere on this forum?

Re: PCB assembly discussion
Thank you so much for your instructions regards the power controller switch. Your wiring modification works perfectly.
I spent days trying to figure out the problem with no success.
Dr Dastoor.

Time Flies clock discussion
Dear friends, It would be nice if we could share our experiences with building Tony's latest kit the levitating clock. Any hints on building. Also problems noticed can be shared by us all. It would also help Tony by having him respond just once to the group rather than constantly sending individual ...

Re: Board PCB discussion
Tony,
unfortunately I have already removed the bad resistors and what I thought was a bad diode. I will reinstall new pieces tomorrow morning.
What should the voltages be across these 5V diodes?
I fear the transistors may be bad too. Is there a way to test them?

Re: Board PCB discussion
Some more measurements - this time of the Diodes; the diodes were checked by placing RED probe on side of diode marked by black stripe and the other end was probed with the black test lead. Voltages were as follows: 1] 14V Zener diode shows 12V 2] 5V Zener that is ABOVE the PIC shows 2.38V 3] 5V Zen...
