mixed up nixie tubes

I have accidentally mixed up the two different Nixie tubes in the kit.

1] Does this matter?

2] If so, how can I differentiate between the two tubes?

I'm assuming you're talking about the thermometer kit? On the back of the tubes there should be some text in Russian. The symbol tubes are labeled IN-19a and IN-19b. The number tubes are IN-14. If you put them on in the wrong place your thermometer display won't make any sense.

no I am talking about the chess kit. There were 2 sets of small nixie tubes and I mixed them up
