Tony,
what is the gauge of the copper wire we are using for the coils? I do not have a micrometer to make the measurement myself.

gauge of enameled copper wire
Re: gauge of enameled copper wire
It's 0.18mm dia., a slightly thinner wire would have made coil winding easier but increased resistive losses. It only just fits on the piece formers.
Re: gauge of enameled copper wire
Would 33 AWG be an adequate substitute?
Re: gauge of enameled copper wire
It would work OK on the baseboard coils but might be a bit tight for the piece coils.
Re: gauge of enameled copper wire
so 34 0r 35awg would be better?
Re: gauge of enameled copper wire
If you have a choice go with the 34 dia.
Re: gauge of enameled copper wire
thanks tony
