Some questions about the power supply unit

Hi,

Should the unit remember settings when power is removed? It doesn't, which means I have to re-enter all of the settings using a bluetooth terminal whenever the unit is unplugged.

Battery backup doesn't work. If I remove power from the unit, it just turns off, even though there are batteries in there.

No, it depends on the battery backup to retain settings. Are you sure the cells in the battery pack are connected OK - sometimes they can stick slightly in the holder and this prevents the spring from pushing them against the end terminal.

It was because I had the batteries switched off. Let's just call it a series of unfortunate events.
